The Job

Thesis is seeking a Principal CRM Strategist to help with strategic planning, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing reporting for enterprise CRM efforts. This role will partner closely with external and internal teams to develop and influence programming, optimize performance, proactively develop channel strategies, testing plans, and target audience segmentation, while also identifying opportunities to streamline efficiencies. This position will include a mixture of strategic thinking, data analysis, planning, program management, and collaboration with multiple teams.

 As a worker, you will

  • Develop measurable customer relationship marketing communication programs that nurture brand relationships, increase engagement, and grow lifetime value
  • Define programmatic orchestrations for email, in-app, trigger, drip-campaign strategies, learning agendas, and test designs across product journeys to improve experiences and drive business goals
  • Partner with marketing, creative and technical teams to develop channel-right designs, messages, and automations that drive 1:1 connection at scale 
  • Work alongside analysts to develop audience segments and attribution models that support stakeholders’ growth initiatives 
  • Collaborate with teammates on content strategy to ensure campaigns are supported across digital ecosystems  
  • Translate data into clear and actionable recommendations to improve performance and contribute to performance reports
  • Identify conversion roadblocks and opportunities for improvement across digital touchpoints to support customers’ journey pathways
  • Work alongside a diverse roster of clients from numerous industries
  • Design and produce scheduled reports for clients
  • Communicate and present complex strategies, program orchestration, customer journeys, and analytics in a way that can be easily activated and understood
  • Present recommendations, status reports, and recaps to stakeholders


As for experience, you need

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience executing marketing programs
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • An insatiable drive and determination to rapidly find solutions to problems 
  • Experience leading work across ecommerce, native apps, email, SMS, and other digital platforms 
  • Experience with reporting, tracking, and developing audience and performance insights
  • Executive coordination and presentation skills 
  • Creative and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional initiative, attention to detail and follow through 
  • Positive demeanor and good sense of humor a plus


But even better, you have

  • Familiar with tools such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, SEMRush, Miro, and Figma 
  • Digital agency experience
  • Understanding and belief in the value of a diverse workforce.   
  • Ability to work in our Portland office.
